Thursday Night Trail Run

Volunteer Park - 6:30 PM

Join us for a trail run through the verdant trails that Seattle offers on Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM starting in front of the Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park. Rain or shine! Lose yourself in a trail running experience that only Seattle can offer! The address is 1400 E Prospect St, Seattle, WA 98112. Afterwards, join us as we go out to dinner at a nearby restaurant announced after the run.

The following trail courses are available:

1 mile perimeter loop around Volunteer Park. This easy-to-follow loop has only light elevation loss /gain and can be repeated multiple times. It is especially suitable for trail run beginners and slow walk/run enthusiasts.

2.5 miles Hill Interval Training – Winter Route: This gentle training is for trail run-beginners whose goal is to feel more comfortable when running short, steep uphill trails. The general 30/30-run/rest method means 30 seconds of modest uphill running is followed by 30 seconds of very slow uphill walking with as many repeats as the length of the hill allows. (These intervals can be changed, i.e. shorter time running, longer time walking etc. One of the Frontrunner hosts will guide and time this training each Thursday evening).

4 miles Arboretum-Interlaken Course

6 miles Arboretum-Foster & Marsh Islands - Interlaken Course
