Saturday Morning Run/Walk

Green Lake - 9:15 AM

Our Saturday morning runs and walks at Green Lake are a decades-old tradition, with a variety of routes and speeds for all skill levels. We meet west of the Green Lake Community Center, by the lakeshore lifeguard station, at 9:15 AM, before taking off on one of our 3, 4, 5, or 6 mile routes. We normally have 45 to 75 runners and walkers of all fitness levels. Newcomers are always welcome! The address for this location is 7201 East Green Lake Dr. N, Seattle, WA 98115.

Our scenic routes around Green Lake include the following hyperlinked routes. We offer pace groups between 8 to 12 minutes per mile (groups vary depending on volunteer availability), and all three courses substantially overlap to allow a 6-mile pacer to lead runners for all three distances. Click on the distance below to see the course and for a description of how our pace groups work.

For more seasoned and competive runners, we also offer the 6 mile route below, which is led by a pacer in the 7 to 7:45 minutes per mile range.
